Changes friend to boyfriend - wtf?

Hey guys,
First post on the boards and coming to you with a story of true frustration.

I was sitting outside a building waiting for a class to start on these steps and this HB9 sits like 10 feet to my right. She's on the phone and calls someone 'coach' to which I inquire after she's off the phone. We start talking from like 10 feet away flirting away with amazing eye contact and laughing, especially as I tease her about playing golf (teasing is the best way to Attract Girls, imo). I move closer and somehow ask her what she's doing here, apparently meeting her friend. After 20 minutes of flirting I reiterate how I'm waiting an hour for my class to start and why she is still here. She then says she's meeting her boyfriend...


SCREEEEECH!! Wasn't ready for that one, but continued on without disruption.

....Why did she do this? Should I take it as flattery she liked my masculine attention or was it simply a communication? Nonetheless I was happy to talk with a hot girl but flustered how it all ended.

Either you ended up in the friends zone or you came on too hard lol. Maybe too much teasing, my guess. I would need more details to give a more solid opinion.

I think you're reading into it too much. She probably had to remind herself that she has a boyfriend and it came out in the conversation. Also you shouldn't be "happy to talk to a hot girl" or be flustered. Rather you should be thinking that she is lucky to have spoken to you and that you got some good practice out of her.
