what is the best way to approach girls in college

whats the best way to approach girls that are in college that either sitting in the lobby, cafeteria, library etc , without making the situation awkward?

Firstly, I'd avoid sarging in the library unless you'd like some dirty look from the stacks and some nasty "Shhhs" (personal experience talking). Secondly, college game is as simple as most other places. Just look at the target (what is she wearing, is she reading something you know about or maybe just something you're interested in, does she look bored etc etc). Have you done a lot of approaches outside of college for day game and the like? Once you're used to just walking up and talking to women (be it asking a question or giving a tiny compliment) it comes naturally.

actually ive been trying to work on both. i still feel hestiant to approach however im starting to get used to it.

Practice, practice, practice. Only way to remove Approach Anxiety. They are just women afterall from the HB1 to the HB11. Best place to start I'd say is with your female classmates. You may have already been doing this, but win them over and not only will you have more prospects but they may introduce you to others. It's easier in a classroom setting because you have plenty to talk about and you'll be seen as her peer (and not a guy trying to get in her pants). Just be friendly, smile, and take it from there.

how do i approach a women if she is listening to her ipod?

That's a tough one actually. Girls have given me the worst looks for disturbing their music if I don't have a good reason to. So make sure you have a plan. I personally have had little success when they are absorbed in the Ipod, but it does provide some opportunites. I look at their motions (dancing with the music, head bobbing etc) and sometimes you can hear the music from their headphones (at least if they keep it blaring like I do). Just go about your business nonchalantly and keep your eyes and ears open. Obviously never creepily listen in, but keep your ears focused if you're sitting near the target. Make a joke about how you could hear her playlist this whole time, how she was really rocking out to Katy Perry or whoever etc. I find the Indirect Approach far more successful, but like I said I'm not very good with the headset disruption. The other guys may have better tips for you on this one but I find the spy tactics and negging work for me.

ok so i think i had a break through and i think my hard work payed off. so there was this girl at college that i spoke to a couple of days ago. she is a HB9. the way the conversation started was i needed the time and she gave me it and we starting talking about what she was majoring in and she wasnt in a good mood cause she was stressed out about something. however she was nice to me we talked like for 10 minutues then i had to get going. i asked her for her fb and she gave it to me. so today i was sitting and i saw her walk by and she smiled and said hi. just so i dont get my hopes up to high, was she saying hi because she was trying to be friendly? or was she saying hi cause she was intrested in me? if she is( i hope so to lol) what would be the next step that i should take?

First off, good work. Did you she give you any IOIs when she was chatting with you? I know she was stressed but if she was enjoying herself she'd give off a few. Also excellent that she saw you and smiled, but don't get too carried away just yet. Doesn't mean she's not interested but also doesn't mean she is. Engage her in conversation again next time you see her when she's not in a rush and see how that goes. Watch for IOIs, Number Close, and take it from there.

Sorry it takes me so long to respond on here. School responsibilites never cease. Honestly all I can really do is reiterate a lot of what you already know. All you need to do now is keep talking to her. Just get her comfortable with you and then ask her out or meet up with her. Watch her IOIs, use Kino, and always maintain Sexual Tension to avoid LJBF (my eye twitches at the thought of those words). Now that she is acquainted with you it should all advance rather nicely.
