Go for it to be honest, what have you got to lose? At this point nothing, if you don't try you'll never know.

When you do text her don't, under any circumstance, apologise for texting her a week after you saw her and not a day or two...should go without saying but this will blow your cover and make her think you've been overthinking things.

You never know, your "patience" could work in your favour in this situation. She could take it as a sign that your a busy guy with lots of other sh1t going on and texting / contacting her wasn't a priority for you.
