It's sorta like No (bitch), I felt like talking to you. I have something to say. You went on about sh1t to me several times this week so I felt like just using this moment when you come up for air to get a quick note in from another point of view. Not necessarily a male point of view, just another person's.

They can be very self righteous and indignant these women. No wonder there are so many chumps out there when we get slammed into the fence everytime we let them know we think something. And its humiliating to cop a pasting from the ladies cos they can shut us right down. Our laws in Australia are all about the woman's rights and that all violence is done by bad men. Its crap, we have women who were having babies for the $5000 baby bonus grant by the government and they weren't fit to bring up kids. We have cops who screw a woman and bash her bloke.... oh sorry! so would I but i would never be a cop

I agree with Smash. Keep them short and sweet. For the first text I write the girls name with a question mark like this "Sarah?" the next day to test out her response. It's a good sign if the response has emoticons.

On another note I read somewhere (maybe Men's health) that emoticons are a bad idea because their not considered masculine but I've noticed you guys use them. What are your thoughts on their impact on success?

whether it is one too many txts or not.... i don't want to become annoying to her. keeping it to the point and setting up the next meet... dilly dallying and stuffing around just makes one look weak. taking charge by text or email etc.... yeah i cant afford to stuff around once i have closed her for something

I use a similar technique...

I ask a pretty interesting question (maybe - "what is the opposite of love"), but before she answers I say "it is not the obvious answer. tell you what, why don't you think about it a bit and tell me the answer next time we meet".

interesting. gonna have a think about reframing it for a situation i have and send it off this arvo. we sorta have a standing date so i guess i can load it up a bit the way i should be
