Any opinions on the value of expensive jewelry etc?
I would highly advise against wearing expensive jewlry in general.

    1. there's a good chance it could get stolen

    2. very few people actually know the difference between a 60 dollar knockoff watch and an 800 dollar rolex

    3. cheap jewelry has just as much peacocking ability as the expensive stuff.

honestly, the 80 dollar armitron watch that I wear works well for me, why waste the money on a rollex?

and I would like to reiterate that no amount of jewelry or expensive clothes will make up for a lack of self confidence and self worth.

Thanks everyone, that's what I thought, and I think I would feel pretentious wearing anything too flashy. I do put a great deal of attention into my outfit, and some of it is expensive designer items. But I only buy it it if I truly think it looks good, and I never buy anything that displays a logo on the outside.

Thanks again for comforting me. I just doubted for a minute that I got it all wrong.

    Enjoy your day

Its all about how you handle it. Its not the looks, its the attitude
Every moment counts, get out of your head and enjoy it.
