Mystery PUA

Hey guys,

Since you are all on this site, you are probably familiar with Erik Von Markovich, AKA Mystery from the best selling PUA book The Game.

My question is, what do you guys think of his methods? Does the mystery method still work on women, now that it has become so mainstream. I mean, there was even a show on VH1 called The Pick Up Artist which many people have seen that has exposed Mystery and his methods.

So, let me know guys. What do you think of his work? Is it outdated?

Mystery was my intro into the PUA field.

I think his stuff is great for getting a fundamental understanding of attraction and the steps involved in the process. However, I think there are much more effective and easier to use tools available for field work. Also, I think Mystery puts a little too much emphasis on canned routine.

I should note that all the material I have ever paid attention to is classic Mystery material. I know that he recently released some new stuff that was billed as "all new" stuff. I don't know anything about this newer material.

MM would work great if you didn't use widely used PU lines, or common canned routines, if you can come up with more dhv routines, or negs that are not heard then it'll be just as effective in my opinion.
