hows this for a routine with a magic trick

i recently learned a magic trick where it appears you turn a 1 dollar bill into a 20 (or any other type of bill you want. its a simple trick. Look it up on youtube it should be easy to find,

Basically take a bill to the back of it that is folded in half several times to where it is a small square and tape it on the corner of the other bill. To make it appear as you have transformed the bill you fold the one the same way you folded the other bill then flip it and unfold the other bill and have the one stuck to the back so it appears you transformed the bill. You can get a better explanation elsewhere.

Here is the routine i came up with, Have the set up dollar bill in your wallet when you go into the bar and that all you need,

Find a chick at the bar sit next to her open and talk to her neg her and get her to say something like "you are rude" or "thats rude"

say you know your right i am sorry let me buy you a drink.

pull out the set up dollar bill covering the folded 20 with your hand (leave the wallet on the table) and show it to here and bring the bartender over they will say something like thats not enough or you need more than that.

(this is where it gets tricky)
Look at the bill and as you fold it up and prepare to do the trick say "man i could have sworn i had a 20," finish folding the one flip the bill and unfold the 20, as you display the 20 quickly pull the folded dollar bill of the back (be sure the tape comes with it) and make it look like one motion to your wallet and then put he one and the wallet in your pocket,

As you are handing the bartender the 20 nonchalantly say to the bartender "I will have a (what ever your drink is)" then look to the girl and say "and what is it that you want."

How do you think of that routine would work? Use a trick to impress her and she probably wont believe you were trying to pick her up with magic.

to be honest as a woman i quickly shut down guys who tried to neg me the pull off the cocky and funny thing ... it always seems as though hes trying too hard ... but we girls do love magic ♥

it seems a bit risky to me seeing as the bartender may be busy and not too amused by the trick, also considering that you're giving away your prop.
Perhaps it would be better to get the bartender involved by tipping him in advance.
