    Default PU Marketing Campaigns

First off, I mean no disrespect with this post. I just wanted to share my opinion and maybe shed some light on the topic.

How do you guys feel about the marketing styles of the PU industry? I personally wish that they were cleaner. There are times I get bombarded with pop-ups and tangents that appear to promise free information, only to end up making you read for half an hour then prompt you to pay. It's not I'm not willing to, I just wish they went with a more honest "no bullshit" marketing style. I just changed my major out of Interactive Digital Studies so I understand the different routes taken, but if it were me I would do it differently. But that's just it: It's not me.

    Thoughts?

Lets face it man. Feminism has created 2 generations of beta males who are desperate to get laid and only end up getting the fats, the ugs and misandrist chicks and some none at all.

The average single male may go as long as a year or two without a sexual encounter. We're getting 1-2 new lays(not counting our regular hookups we keep around) or more a MONTH.

Guys want what we have, and that creates a demand from 2 generations of males desperate for any secret they can get their hands on and like most people, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Like most of the self help industry, PU is full of scam artists and others promising a quick fix to lifes little problems and psychological hangups. Hell Oprah and Dr. Phil have been playing this dynamic in women for years. No different for us.

I've never paid a dime for any of my knowledge. I picked it up in the only way that matters. By going out into the most wicked and challenging venue I could find with the basic conversational outline in my head that can be gained from all over the internet for free through the community and then pushed myself until I developed a mental callous to rejection and developed inner game.

What do all these products promise exactly? You as well as I know there is no magic bullet, no magical material that will just make hotties fall into bed with us. So I fail to see how these products would be sellable at all(given the necessary information is free) WITHOUT these sorts of marketing gimmicks.

I see it like a mouse in a maze and there is this piece of cheeze and on the other side of a hoop the mouse sees another, slightly bigger piece of cheese so he jumps the hoop but finds out, the piece of cheese isn't all that much bigger after all, and is the exact same cheese he's been eating all along, but the path is straight and easy. Just jump the hoop and get the cheese.

Then there are other mice, like me, who see another path, this one is windy and fraught with danger, there are pitfalls and traps, but none of them fatal, just difficult to traverse and there isn't a lot of cheese on the way, but there is a big ass mound of the stuff at the end.

Fact is most "pay to play" PU material is the same recycled stuff you can find in the community for free, and any truly experienced PUA will know it the moment he sees it. That marketing is for the suckers who can't figure out why it's the same cheese cut into a different shape.

I mean, do you really need that new product? What is it going to offer you that you haven't already read, seen, experienced in the field? I think what you'll find is, if you actually pay, you'll be largely disapointed in what you read, becuase it's all the same cheese.

I agree. My resources consist primarily of the internet (The Forums, Youtube, Blogs, etc.) and books. Lots and lots of books. I guess it depends on what you consider new information. Is a new, easier model that realigns the old material "new?" Maybe it just comes down to the consumers vs. innovators. I would rather contribute and help others than be helped, but when I do want helped I want it to be clean. That's what drew me to The Game. Leather bound book, gold pages. It wasn't shouting out at me. It was just there to read if I wanted.
