Question Discussion: "The Game" still the way to start?

Most of us got here after reading The Game. Hell, I think at least 4 in 5 found out about the community through that book. It's an amazing book that has changed a lot of our lives.

However, is The Game still the way to enter the community? It's the PUA bible, I know, but a lot of the information in there has aged and newer, better, smoother seduction tactics have been invented.

Direct Game is taking over the community and it's claiming to have better and faster results than The Game's indirect Mystery Method. No more wasting time, let's just be friends, spending money, trying to figure out whether or not she likes you, etc. Just being straight up with the woman. Some even go as far as telling women they want to fark them the first minute they meet them. During the day.

So is reading The Game still the right way to enter the community? Are new members not getting the wrong view on PUA, with all those indirect tactics, routines, magic tricks, etc?

I feel both indirect and direct are both relevant. Indirect tends to work better at bars and clubs but Direct Game can still be used. While direct game tends to be better during the day. It will always be a battle of which do you want, high risk/ high reward or low risk/ low reward.

Magic needs to be removed from the core values of The Game. The only reason it's even here is because Mystery is a founding father who used it to PU women and he could also teach it to his followers. It's HIS stylistic approach and those who choose to follow him, but we are Pick Up Artists, not just Pick Up Guys. How artistic is it if we're just copying someone elses style? We need to teach guys to use their own style by implimenting their interests into how they go about PU. Sasha did stand up, but do you see a section on comedy routines? (No disrespect Bill, just sayin) I am a writer and you can bet I use it to my advantage. My friends know I always have a pen on me. I use handwriting analysis as an opener. Women love my handwriting. I've literally had women come up to me and say, "Write on me." What? Wtf? Lol, alright.. what do you want me to write? "I don't care, anything. Everything."

We need a Direct Game Bible, but not a novel, just straight theory. Don't worry guys, I'm workin on it
Wondering where I am now? Check out my latest project:

The game is the bible of the pua community, it is what brought many people from a life of depression and solitude to one of absolute abundance and acceptance. But i think its teaching a lot of pua alot of bad habbits. For example: DHVing or amoging, neither of which are good techniques for picking up women. if u want my oppinion(and its only an oppinion) the games only redeeming property is that it can convince guys that there preconceptions of the world might be wrong.
