Hey man, Just joined recently so I didn't come across this thread until just now so I'm really glad things are, ahem, looking up. I know what its like to be in the position where your body doesn't do what you want it to. I personally found that, while I wasn't super fat, when I was younger and out of shape I had a more difficult time of getting/staying up as a result I'd psych myself into things being worse. I don't know about your fitness level but if it happens again try hitting the gym hard for a month. Also, big kudos for finding a girl who seems pretty damn cool.

This is a question for your doctor and not for google. It is the job of the doctor (or other health care professional) to deal with these, things, so let them earn their money. They aren't going to be embarrassed by it, you won't be the first or the last to ask them about these issues. Far from it.

    Hey Cody,

Glad your doing good bro,.... I myself had anxiety/panic attacks as a youth and still struggle on and off with OCD!!! It sucks but let me tell you, if you have OCD you can definitely use it to your advantage sometimes. It sucks when you get a thought in your head and can't get it out(Like anticipating outcomes, trips, or a fight you had), anyways if you can use OCD for your favor and get stuff done in your career and personal life due to the fact your so obsessive is pretty cool.

Also, if you don't take viagra or anything you should google KEGEL EXERCISES on youtube. not sure if I spelled it right, its super easy, can be down anywhere t anytime, and it increases bloodflow to your JOhnson!!! that way you can pretty much control your Boner!!! haha

    Cheers and GOD BLESS BRUTHA!!!

Wow! I don't know how I missed this thread before....?

Anyway, I'll admit; I know exactly where you're coming from.
I have A.D.D. (which medication helps a ton!!) But I KNOW I also have some form of OCD. I have never been officially diagnosed, (because I've never brought the issue up with my doctors) but I know I do.

Example(s): Sometimes I notice I'm telling myself, (While I'm driving) "I have to see 5 blue cars before I reach such-n-such place..."

Or, I'll sometimes have this uncontrollable urge to "match sensations". For instance: If I bump my right arm on something, I have to "hit or tap" my left arm in the same spot to balance out the sensation/feeling.

(Yeah, I know.... What a freak, right??!!!) LOL!

I'll leave it at just those 2 examples.... (because it's "balanced" that way. heehee!)

But believe me, you're not alone in the "crazy boat". In fact, I'd go so far to say that I'm probably the Captain of that ship! LOL!

But here's what I discovered helps me when I catch myself in one of those OCD moments; I tell myself (out loud) "STOP!".
For whatever reason, that seems to snap me out of it.

Then I'll laugh about it. (I used to get pissed at myself... but that only made it worse.) But, there's something about laughter that has a soothing effect on the the brain, or the signals sent to it that cause the OCD moments.

Anyway, that little self-discovery has helped me over the past 8-10 years. I'm not sure if the same thing would help you or not.... but I'd be willing to bet that there's some sort of "personal off-switch" waiting to be discovered.

Seee we all have some form of something !!!! haha

The best thing you can do is laugh at yourself and be proud that you have something that not many people have..... Its funny I've read a ton of books on OCD and majored in PSYCH a couple years ago, and have realized how DUMB OCD is... If you think of OCD like an automobile, Its basically your brain getting "STUCK" in a gear. Thats why when you say "STOP" it works for you. NOw that may not work for everyone, but once you understand the dynamic of OCD and Anxiety, its pretty easy to decipher. You start to understand that OCD is just a byproduct of something stressful going on in your life..i.e whenever I plan a nice trip I'll notice myself become super anxious and OCD over dumb shit!!! Its like I'll plan a trip 2 months from now and the closer it gets I start OCD'ing about my ex-gf??? or why is my house so dirty?? haha... Now I just take a step back and remind myself its just my OCD, and Im over it...

    CHeers guys!!

Hey Cody, I was reading through your stuff and happened across this thread. I have a very similar problem, I'm on antideppressants and while I don't have any problem getting it up, I have a problem finishing. Obviously girls love this at first (what girl wouldn't love an hour straight of sex, not foreplay but actual sex?) but then they start thinking it's a problem with them.

When this happens, I'm just honest with them. I've actually never had a negative response to it, in fact girls usually respond positive to it. ("Oh my gosh, I'm sorry! Thank you for telling me though! It's so cool that you're open about it!" etc.). That's just been my experience though.

Hopefully you have this figured out now and my post is unneeded, I know it's extremely annoying!

Cody and the rest of the guys in the thread who suffer from medical misfortunes I am sorry to hear about all your troubles. I do not want to sound like a carebear sesame street tree hugger and all but togetherness and love heals all. Easy said than done but as most founding fathers of psychology and psychiatry believed, talking and relating with others is the first step in healing. So through PUA and this forum we all can help each other I hope.
