Default Best to wear under a button up.

So I bought some new clothes for the first time in a while as a result of dropping 45lbs!
Found this shirt that I absolutely loved, AND the fact it's a medium (and I can't remember when the last time I've ever worn a M shirt) so I definitely want to wear it.

    So my question is...
    what to wear under it?
    Beater, vneck, or just skin?

I think skin looks best, but I still don't have a flat stomach yet (by the end of the year I'm hoping to be at 10% bodyfat).

You could leave it unbuttoned and wear a gray tee. That'd look pre good.
Wondering where I am now? Check out my latest project:

Depends on where you're wearing it. I think it looks fine with just skin, and I know some ladies who think that's a good look. But at the same time it works better if you have some shoulder and pec definition to show off, so if you feel like waiting it's understandable. Almost any solid color crew neck would work with that.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “WOW...What a Ride!”

It's a cool shirt, you're working the adventurous, explorer type of guy thing and girls typically love that because it says immediately that you are fun and open minded...it's what you wear with that shirt that will make it work or not. IMO, it's too casual for a night club but would rock an open bar, patio style place...keep it out with faded jeans, sleeves rolled up to the elbow, and flip flops and if you can pull off a hat (I recommend a weave-style fedora), or, jeans and suede boots in dark or light brown (also goes great with the fedora)...toss a casual sport coat in your car and your also set for the evening so you can pull her from the beer patio to a nicer place in a matter of minutes...

I'm really working on my wardrobe right now. Like I said I lost a bunch of weight, so basically I need new clothes anyway.

I'm really looking for the more of the "classy" type of look. I'm a little bit older (30)then most of the people the spots I hit, but I've come to realize that means absolutely nothing. I think the older more refined look is what is really going to set me apart as well.

Love the fedora idea, I've been looking to get one anyway.

Wear a grey or white undershirt. Especially if you're going to be dancing or moving around a lot because nobody wants to be next to the smelly sweaty guy at the club haha. The shirt combination will compliment your style and throw on a blazer or jacket for a sophisticated look. Make sure that your bottom layer of whatever you wear is COTTON though, polyester or other blends smell terrible if you perspire at all. Hope this helps and congrats on the weight loss!
