Depends on your taste, rock em if you like them and tell her that it's boring to wear everything that is in fashion

dont let it bother you, your alpha male remember, wear what you like
Men, we need to value our time more then we value women. This isn't to say women are not valuable. But who are we to believe in something so illogical, as men we should realize that without our time(life), we would not even be able to pursue women, but only our mother who gave us life. Why do we think we should prioritize them over our time(life) unless she is the one who gives me/my children life. Man is Sovereignty.

Keep the Docs. Just remember there is a time for everything. You want to have a few pairs of shoes for different occasions. Expand your wardrobe and be versatile with your shoes pants and shirts. Different look, different attraction, all according to the situation.

I disagree with what some on here are saying. Yes you want to be alpha and you want to do what you want to do but within reason. If you want to walk around carrying a gun or even a super soaker you could do that too but why? Just to prove you don't give a crap what others think? So living in your own reality has it's limits I'm afraid unless you don't want to ever leave your house or be social.

The thing is you don't want to discount what a woman says. Women can give valueable feedback and you would be foolish to not take that into account. If wearing doc martens are congruent with who you are and only one woman complained then you probably shouldn't let that stand in the way of wearing them.

However, the fact is black Doc Martens were and are closely associated with skin heads. Yeah it's mostly something from the 90's(or earlier)hence the out of date comment but women are really sensitive to this kind of thing so you might want to reconsider wearing them for that reason especially if you are like me and have a shaved or bald head.

the thing is 'doc martens' have always been associated with the punk rock and skinhead scene- i mean if YOU like the style, then rock'em with pride not caring what other people think.
It also doesn't hurt to own other pair of shoes n boots, i do and its a nice option to have.
