That said sometimes I just put "hello" in there

The piece is clearly alpha enough you don't need to put sexual innuendos in. They see it, they see hello, they come say hello, and you run game from there
(anytime I'm complimented on my belt buckle I accuse them of staring at my junk, it works, it's funny, even if that was the whole point)

Yeah I didn't want any really obscene innuendos. 'free hugs......' went down quite well, although some guy tried to AMOG me by asking for a hug, he was confused when I hugged him though :L

Not knocking your style at all.
And you guys make some very good points.

Mystery's style works for him because really, that is him. He'll wear those feathers to church without a second thought if he wants to so I totally agree with the point on being congruent.

If it works for you, it works for you but it has to come across like you're not really looking for the attention but doing it because it's what you'd normally wear anyway and it's "you". If you met her for coffee you would wear the same and she wouldn't be embarrassed by it outside of a club-venue because its not so outragious, but it's you. Being able to wear something "different" WITHOUT it actually attracting a lot of attention is actually key because then it's more about the look being "you" that people don't stop and stare.

@Linking: I'm Irish so I've gamed in Ireland & UK before. I agree there are differences. Guys DO dress much better there than where I am now. I feel I have a point though on how wearing a shirt isn't necessarily dressing well... wearing a good fitting, clean, modern fit which looks expensive (without having to actually cost a lot) is worth a lot next to the guy who dresses "well" or "clean" but not stylish as it is ill-fitting. Guys with money often fall into this category. They will Peacock with expensive clothes but they don't match, don't fit, and just don't suit him and it looks aweful, he needs status to make it work for him.

I do actually like to wear some accessories but usually keep them understated but it still sets me apart. Feathers and LEDs aren't *my* thing but thats not to say I'm knocking anyone who can't make it work.

My post here wasn't directly at you. I've just been reading a lot of threads on this part of the forum and even where some guys posted some photo's, it really shows that they just don't "get it". In some cases they have some really cool pea-cocky items but when put with the rest of their outfit it just doesn't work... baggy jeans, dirty shoes, a really cool coat which WOULD draw attention only its way too big. Things like that.

I have an image in my mind of where the LED belt would look really cool but I also have an image where it's worn with an outfit that makes it look silly. I don't know your overall style so I'm not trying to knock that at all, just make a few points in general regarding fashion (which is the title of this forum, right?)

    I actually like this too.

The belt itself should be enough to draw attention and a fun or funny message works great.

I don't think it needs anything cheap or inuendoes(sp?). I think that gives off more of an impression that "I'm wearing this because I'm a fun guy"... not "Please read my belt so it gets you wet".

It's more about the item and the message on it.

    Well stated.
And yes all the feathers I wear I'll wear at the grocery store or coffee shop (including my occasional beret, bleached pants, mismatched flip flops, whatever)
Not work however, I'm in a very professional job with public interaction, dress pants and dress shirt, etc, so... I can't

Peacock is not about dressing like mystery, it's more about not being afraid to step out of your comfort zone
If you see something cool that fits, wear it

Yeah dude, he asked what to make the belt say, not whether r not he should wear it
If i get a guy some a$$, he gets it for a day; if i teach him how to get it for himself, he's tappin forever

I've noticed my game improved dramatically when I bought this glow in the dark pair of shutter shades at the mall. Girls notice it in dark lit clubs and tend to flock to it. I normally open by randomly putting it on a girl in a set, or in the case of a mixed set, I put it on one of the guys. I think by sharing with the whole group, it demonstrates alpha behaviors. I sometimes even play keep away with the girls using my wings. They always end up getting them, but it gets a good chance to get playful Kino going with multiple girls. Another strategy is waiting for a girl or set to notice them, open, have a short conversation and leave the glasses in their set. They are highly visible and they know you'll be back.
