It gets decently interesting and then repetitive. I remember it well because when I was with my Ex she said the same thing

Lol 50 Shades was terrible. It's okay (and okay at best) as a stand-alone novel, but compared to other erotic lit that's been written it's not even close. There's better fanfiction out there.

My advice is go to a sex shop and pick out a book of real erotica. Pretty much anything on the shelf is guaranteed to be smarter, hotter and better written, and there'll be a variety of types to choose from: I've seen dark fantasy erotica, a book of 60 quickies, really good bdsm sh1t, all kinds of stuff. Studies show that people who read erotica have hotter sex lives, and I'd have to agree, so it's totally worth going out and looking; hell you could even buy it online.

The book is nothing great. The publicity around the book means that almost everyone knows about it and the subject matter.

I leave the book lying around on one my end tables waiting for a girl that I have over to find it and tease me about it.

It opens a new thread and I can run with it from there. It makes it look like it was her idea to talk about book. It leads towards an f-close

The top selling romantic books, like Twilight and 50 Shades, are not popular because of their content. Hell, there's a lot of vampire movies and books out there, and I don't think anyone finds a man who sparkles in sunlight to be very masculine. However, they are popular because they are written BY women, FOR women.

These books are a gold mine for women. Men won't find anything in reading these books because they are not the intended audience. However, women read these books and it taps into their fantasies. As I said before, not many men would want to be a half dead emo who glitters, but a woman reading such a book would find suspense and all sorts of role play in feeling themselves become a character that is in a romantic relationship with a vampire.

Your ultimate bet to understanding what women want is to get any piece of romantic literature written by a female writter. After all, no one knows a lady better than a lady herself.

Ok, statement retracted to a point the book did get good. Value is up to one's interpretation. To me it was entertaining if nothing else and insightful into the fantasies of ladies.

Either way, I like it and approve of the book. Sure the media hype gave me high expectations but likewise I learned that my expectations are a little off when it comes to what women want. That being said I am going to make some calibrations.

I won't be buying whips, chains and other stuff like that, but never the less I am calibrating some adjustments based off of what I have taken of this experience.
