    Default This is Moral Support

I've stumbled upon something here. Take it with a grain of salt.

I've been playing some brooding game lately. I read an article and thought I could make it work for me since I'm the brooding type by nature. It has actually worked out really well. It has allowed me to be a lot more candid and I have learned a lot about women in the process.

My biggest realization though? It's all about my ego.

Have you ever had a girl try to give you what she thought was logical advice?

It is abrasive and it turns me off. I respect opinions. Sometimes. But as men, we don't need advice from women. We generally know exactly what we need to do on our own.

Now, have you ever had a girl blow up your ego? Moral support?

Music to my ears. A girl blowing up my ego will pick me up faster than amphetamines. I love a women who knows the art. If I am feeling out of it, all I need is a girl to fan the flame a little bit, then I get back to doing what I already knew how to do.

    What are your opinions?

Oh hell yes I've gotten stuff like this. I come from a family where two out of the six family members are women, and coincidentally they are my older sister and mother. Being the protective people they are, and believing they have an obligation to me due to my autism, they like to tell me what I should or should not be doing, even if I'm already following that regiment.

Needless to say, it makes me very angry and annoyed at times when people try to educate me on things I already know of or simply do not desire at all. However, I always keep in mind the saying that we are our own worst critics. I will admit that I am stubborn when it comes to receiving criticism from my own family or girlfriends, but I generally force myself to be liberal to change, especially when it is positive and meaningful.

Ego boosters are nice, but they are poisonous. It's a good idea to feign a big ego as a PUA because it makes you look more confident and attractive. However, actually having a large ego is dangerous because it makes you cocky and blind to what the real situation is.

There's also the big problem that moral support does not always result in the best advice. Sometimes, people will just say anything that will make you feel better, and they will know whether it is right or wrong. Problem is, you don't.

In the end, I would say that as much as I hate the former, I would definitely take seemingly-logical advice over moral support.
