Let's Talk About Feminism
I wanna go a little bit deep with you guys and this is gonna be a bit long (no puns come on lol).
I'm sure you've all heard of the term feminism. But most of the people don't actually know what it means. Although the word suggests women > men, it's actually focused on men and women are being equal individuals in society.
However, I'm sure you all heard many cases about women trying to go to war with men to "reclaim their power". Now that's what worries me.
There is this woman journalist (Dutch I believe?), she posted on her Twitter about a plane crash and she said that there were more female children than male children in the plane and that it was unacceptable because female death counts shouldn't be higher than males. Can you believe this logic? It's like someone deliberately put more girls on the plane and let it crash because the female count is higher.
Like that's not enough she also said that if the pilots would have been females the plane wouldn't have crashed. Eh.
What scares me is that she's a well-known journalist in her country and she actually influences a lot of people.
Another recent story you must've heard. A Nobel prize winner claimed that women are "distracting" in the working environment. Of course, I know it's an outrageous statement but he faced so much pressure from the community he actually had to resign from his job. Again, the influence.
In many countries women can cause you to be put in custody just by saying "he raped me", even if you didn't even touch them. The police would actually take their word for it, just like that.
Some women will hit you knowing that you wouldn't hit them back because "they are women and they are delicate princesses that can't be hit." But the other times they are strong independent women who can take on anything in life. You get the picture.
Of course not all women are like this. I'm glad they're not. There are some amazing women that are working to make feminism beneficial for both genders. There are women that are using feminism to bring the two sexes together, not divide them apart.
Now I wanna now what are your opinions about this. Did you encounter the kind of "war-against-men" type of women before? How did you deal with them?
As far as my observations go, things are not getting better. Women are frustrated because close-minded individuals are constantly blocking their path to grow and men are frustrated because some women are taking advantage of their "woman power" to erase the unwanted men out of their way. It seems men and women are further falling apart rather than coming together...
It's not about who I was or who I'm going to become.
It's about who I am. Do it right here, right now.
