I've only really got two pairs of good jeans. Deisel (a safe bet) and a pair of G Star Elwood's. The G Stars have actually got a few compliments which is always nice.

I've also got two watches that I really like and wear out (the one with two clocks always gets the girls talking, especially as I've got it set to Australian time where I've got family. Gives a great opportunity to dhv about travelling there, haha!)

Apart from that I've got a few nice going out shirts, but I wear my check shirts probably too much. But as a student they are perfectly acceptable at student club nights

Well done for losing the weight man! It's good to hear of other peoples success!

Congratulations on losing the weight bro! I know it's not easy, but we all gotta make big changes at times. As far as fashion goes, it's all about dressing to attract the type of girls you are into an conveying your unique identity.

Mystery once put "it's better to be looked over than to be over look". Basically sums up fashion. There is no right or wrong, just pure personal expression and being the best you.

    Keep it up.

Sorry didn't mean to break the rules here. Just looking to help some people out. But no worries, I'll keep my nose clean.

    No floral beach shirts.

For the button ups, vests, fedoras, and slacks I would try:

    H&M
    Express
    Nordstrom Rack
    Macy's

i've had the same problem too, i on the other hand just had to change my style (which i feel comfortable in) i always used to wear classy buttoned shirts but it was always way to big because the sleeves would reach halfway through my arms if i didn't (i'm 6'6" and have a tall torso) jeans where never a problem though.
Now i just wear (super) tight stylish t-shirts (occasional buttoned shirts with the sleeves rolled up), maybe an idea for you?

well being that your on puaforums & what LiOnHeArT said...i honestly believe asking a Cute or very attractive Sales Clerk on whats in style will be a thousand times better than just asking here, and the reason why is that you will gain more experience with women, and will flatter her completely...

Lifes short man, Ask a cute girl for help, its a genuine question & you will enjoy the company that comes with it!

I did the same thing, lost 50 lbs., but am frugal too. I still have another 30 lbs. to go to get down to 175, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on new clothes.
I checked out our local Salvation Army and Goodwill thrift stores, and found really nice clothes! Aeropostale, A&F, etc shirts and found a couple that fit my leaner self. Also, for a few bucks, picked up a very nice full length wool winter coat, a wool blazer, and a nice suit jacket.
I spent maybe $25 on about 10 items.
Take a girl you met with you, it can be a lot of fun and she can critique your look.
Now that its cool, when I wear the wool blazer with just jeans and one of the new shirts, I get compliments from women that say "I like your jacket" (No she doesn't, she likes me..!!).
You don't have to break the bank to look good.

    SMILE , and Don't care.
