Facebook or no facebook

Personally if im talking to a girl (because ive only lived here for a year it's rare to have a mutual friend) and if they mention facebook ill simply say "oh no i dont have facebook"

Simply if i wana get in contact with the girl i want HER number and not some facebook where ill just be an extra fb friend.

One scenario (before i read the game):
I was at a pizzeria after the clubs with my buddy. We were talking to this group of girls and we were having some fun. Then as they were leaving i said hey why dont you give me your number. She replied no but ill give you my facebook. I was pretty drunk at this stage and my friend said that i said something hilarious like "oh ya facebook, fark off so" and walked off.
I find it very insulting if i ask for a number and i get offered a facebook which is actually much more invasive and gives out alot of personal info!

Also i dont like the idea of adding lots of people to my fb especially all these girls who if i meet with be posting photos etc up and letting theo ther girls see it.
The main reason for my opinion here is: i went on a date with this one girl a few months ago and it went very well and kiss closed, and she said she would even cook me dinner sometime soon. Then she gave me the cold shoulder and didnt respond to me. So i deleted everything of her. Im pretty sure she did this because she saw photos of me with another girl i was kissing at the same time.

Is this a bad idea or what? or am i cutting myself out of some good stuff?

I know this is some months old, but I'll give feedback here for you (if you do so return), and others that come across this. I've deleted my facebook account some time ago, and it's the best thing I've ever done. You instantly gain a very high dhv spike, not to mention skipping the the whole "facebook stage" of today's relationships.


They realize that the only way they can get in touch with you is by phone number, and they can't just search you up easily like any other AFC on the internet.



To add on the side (smaller things you may notice). Your phone will now constantly go off with texts, which women DO notice. I've even been in situations where a girl I'm with gets a hold of my phone for some playful reason/sneaks on to it somehow, in which she usually tries to see my texts... Low and behold to her, she knows not the only one I talk to.

I use the Facebook daily ....its addict for everyone ....

thats good to here. while i use facebook to keep in contact with my good friends around th world i dont wish to delete it. But when girls ask for it i say i dont have usually (sometimes i say yes, but even later sometimes i just delete them). I have a different name to my name so people cant find me if they search for me unless we have a mutual fb friend but most likely not.

Great idea to have a different name on the account.

i think there's no problem with facebook, the problem is you should keep things private in your account, so that no one can see it especially the girls you are dating on.
in that case it is all safe.
