Realistic Expectations from a veteran PUA

I first picked up The Game 2 years ago and have been off and running since. My lifetime number is now 123. No bullsh1t. Now the majority of those are 5,6s and 7s with a sprinkle of 8s. Pick up has helped me bag 9s and 10s consistantly.

When I first read The Game I admired one of the rules everyone seem to follow in the book and I have preached it ever since. "Leave them better then you found them". Which essentially means do not give false expectations about your intentions. I know a lot of guys on here live by this also.

What sucks is we have that courtesy for the women we seduce but there are some MPAUs who are making money off this with their DVDs and seminars who give the biggest false expectation to us guys. That is simply this. No matter how good you get at this, no matter how long you do it or how many different methods you learn it will never be 100% effective. There will always be single women out there for what ever reason who you just wont be able to crack. Even the honest gurus will tell you that it isn't.

Yet I see new systems being advertised and promoted as "get any woman into bed" blah blah blah.

A good PUA knows when to Eject from a set or redirect themselves to a more receptive target. There is no magical formula to get any woman. They just increase your chances.

Good stuff, marlinfisher. What you say is true in other areas of life too, there isn't always a 100% chance of getting what you want. I find that when I enter a situation while expecting nothing in return, I don't leave the scene disappointed. That doesn't mean that I don't get what I want, this is just a state of mind that prevents any discontent.... or embarrassment...
