Smile New to all this. advice on starting?

Hey guy, been reading up on this stuff (lightly) for a couple years and came to the conclusion that I need to join a forum, get more educated, and get my lazy ass to start gaming.

so my question, where should I begin? I'm going to read the all the stickies also.
Then if you could go back in time and tell yourself something that you wish you knew, what would it be?

I have same problem as you. You should read uo on the dynamics of pua try and get the basics down after that take a leap and open every chance you get. Once the anxiety becomes a thrill then you will have no problem. Best of luck to you.

Get out and meet as many people as possible and get involved in everything and have a group of friends who are adventurous.

thanks centre, and it make sence the only prob its hard to find adventurous people. i love doing somthing diff everyday around diff people and to have fun. and wannabee i agree 100% i forgot were i read this, but the anxiety or butterfly feeling you get. you have to think it as this like you dont have them cause your nervous but because your so exited to do it. remember being a little kid, and the night before your birthday. you had the same feeling but you told yourself its because you cant wait.

Definitely go to the bars. A lot of articles will tell you you don't have to go to bars to game but I find it is the best place to break out of your shell and force yourself to game. Think of it like doing homework. If you do homework at home, you may become preoccupied with other tasks, but if you go to the library, you are stuck there. You can think of PU like homework and the bar is your library.

The only problem i have with bars is im 20 with no fake lol,
but ive been to clubs and i get watcha mean. my games been getting way better all because ive opened up (kinda weird how only that was holding me back). my question though what what would be some normal approaches? Im more into natty game, but ive found out that you NEED to throw in some material because it makes things go by so much smoothly.

I was in your shoes not too long ago. What I used to do was perform street magic outside of bars. It gives you a good platform to game and you can make some money also. If you don't want to do magic you can do music, drawing, or whatever kind of street performance if the sidewalk is public (you have a first amendment right to perform on public streets outside of bars even if you're under 21). I recommend doing magic though because it's the most interactive form of performance, easiest to learn (as opposed to guitar or something), and the most entertaining. The best part is you only need to know one magic trick to do this. I once saw a couple guys performing the four aces (one of the easiest and simple magic tricks to pull off) on the street and they had a crowd of about 13 people. This was their only trick.
In addition, it's important to get to know the science of the cold approach and practice frequently so that you can easily incorporate openers, routines, closers, etc. into your natural game.
