Default Time to kill the AFC in me! First off I need a bit of style advice..

    Hi guys,

I'm new to the whole world of PUA and have struggled most of my life with meeting women. It's time to break apart the shackles of fear and rejection, and learn a few new life lessons from the right teachers.

Talking of teachers, I'm starting university this Autumn to train to become a teacher. Amazingly...us chaps are incredibly outnumbered on this course, so they'll be ample scope for fun.

My problem is: I'm 30....(that's not the problem ), and this last year have developed a bald spot around the crown. I usually rock a black dyed haircut with some amazing sideburns...but I'm at the point of deciding...do I let it go and have a short buzzcut to minimise the semi-obvious follicle desert? Plus if I do this will it make me look older and put off any of my teaching HBs?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Respect.

Go find a good hairdresser and ask their opinion. Go to a nice salon, gay guys are great for this stuff. Pay for a $40 haircut once just for the advice

My guess? If you're gonna chop it try shaving it all the way. Bald can work depending on your build and face, then you can keep some or all of the facial hair. Just depends, I'm generally not a fan of the buz cut with a bald spot, doesn't help you really

    Welcome!

Im 31 and used to shave my head due to my job and whatever. Anyway, it really doesnt matter. I would say shave it and embrace it, make it work for you. It's only weird if you make it weird. At first it will look odd because you will have a white head due to being freshly shaved but eventually the color will even up.

Some might say that women dont like bald heads, but let me put it this way.

Some women dont like tattoos, short men, tall men, black men, hispanic and the list goes on. So! In a nutshell you wont score every chic out there so who cares. I used to run game bald for years (although it sucked back then) but I still managed to get laid.

You are 30. Embrace it. Im 31 and still pull young women. Why? Because its just a number and who gives a crap lol. Do your thing brah. Hope this helps.

Great advice, thanks to both you guys.

Hair doesn't maketh the man. Age is just a number...the game plan is cut it short..grade 2 or something....inspect the damage, if its not a style I like, then I'll go all out. Getting rid of the burns will be the hardest part, but its all about change and confidence.

Furthermore ridemyr1, I'm not overly sure the colour will ever change, I'm from the UK rain capital of the world. It may possibly turn grey ....then I'd have to rock the Roger the alien look from American Dad. Might be a bit of a hard angle

    Thanks again guys.

I started thinning at about 25ish, and I tried everything to try and cover it up, but honestly... it wasn't fooling anybody.

My advice is shave it all off, and keep a stubble too. But a neat trimmed stubble. Invest in some good quality cordless clippers, and you can pretty much walk out the house looking sharp every morning. You don't have to worry about messy hair, wind or rain. Wake up and your good to go, and saves a fortune on shampoo!

If your balding, and you know it, shave it off. Also what I find is - and this is really true - girls love to stroke your head *giggity*

    Awesome advice, RollingStone.

The face does need a little topiary. Some stubble shrubbery is the way forward.

    Giggity.
