Hi, thanks for the positive response.
Would you recommend starting out at night
Or in the day? What sorts of places
Do you have your most success?

The best thing to do is to just get started! Don't worry about how, or where, or when. Just try many things and you will eventually find one that works for your lifestyle.

Did my first approach the other day. I saw this hot girl walking her dog on my way home from work and I thought she'd be the perfect first target so I got myself psyched up a bit and went for it. I must've got too pumped up or approached too hard and aggressively because she actually flinched like she thought I was about to punch her or something. I asked her for the time and quickly left. I'm going to try more approaches this weekend but this time I'm going hit the clubs and bars.

Approach slowly and not directly in front. You are cool and casual. Like you didn't even notice her. When you make eye contact then start your opener.

I tried gaming Saturday night at a few bars and clubs. I found it very difficult in the club because of the noise, it was very difficult to hold a conversation there but I did some approaches in the bars before. The first approach was a four set which went quite well, I made the mistake of addressing the one girl instead of the group. We talked for 15-20 minutes but when I asked for her number she told me she had a boyfriend so I left it there. I then tried with the girl behind the bar which was a bit stupid looking back at it. Anyway I didn't really get anywhere but I didn't get brutally blown out either. Definitely room for improvement. Hopefully next weekend I'll do better.

These questions are subjective from person to person so don't let them fuel how and where you game. Go get experience, references and contingencies are the most important part, but that belief is also subjective from person to person.

The volume in most busy bars and clubs is a challenge. I am slightly hard of hearing in one ear so it is harder for me yet. Practice talking loud in a calm and clear voice without shouting. Work the volume up slowly imagining your target farther and farther away until the neighbors on he next block get tired of hearing your openers! Lol. I work a club with live music so after I open if my target shows interest I ask her to go to a quieter spot in the place to talk for a bit, assuring her friends I will return her promptly. I'm not offended if a friend of hers tags along to keep me honest.
Every set is a learning experience whether you F-close, you get blown out or somewhere in between. I went through a phase early on where all I did was open and try to keep their interest. That was enough challenge for me. I didn't worry about the end result. I still don't worry about the end result. Open everyone and don't be afraid to crash and burn! Open women you are not even interested in just for practice. Open guys too. You need to be comfortable talking to anyone any where. I still need to push myself sometimes to do this. I was at the tanning studio yesterday waiting for a booth and caught myself sitting there with my mouth shut while an attractive young lady (not really my type) was standing there looking bored and I thought "say something stupid" so I noticed she was looking at the TV and started talking about the show. Then I mentioned shows I like that I know girls like too. She jumped on Friends when I mentioned that show and I mentioned how I used to have a crush on Jennifer Anniston. (Emotional connection to the show she likes) Just then my booth came open and they called me and the young lady looked disappointed when I left.
Keep opening, try Day and night games and see which fits you best! Make your own luck!

If you scare her it's ok, just say, "i didn't mean to scare you but... *insert open here* i scare them pretty often. As long as you can spin it and be a man about it you'll be fine.
