defintely wait at least 15 minutes so you dont look like the guy that just came in to hit on girls. maybe 30 minutes. i like to wait until lots of the ppl i saw when i came in leave and a new set of ppl come in so they dont know how long ive been there and who im with before i open. defintely a great technique!!

I disagree, I walk in and go to the bar to get a drink and open a set at the bar, it gets you going and you don't get stuck in your head. It also doesn't look blatantly obv as to what your up to........but even if it did it doesn't matter

I'd say that it depends. I mean, if you're having fun with whoever you came with in between opening sets then it doesn't matter (like playing darts/pool). But if you're standing somewhere, beer in hand, looking around at girls to potentially open, that looks obvious. I mean now that I am completely comfortable with opening I can easily spot guys who are basically standing around waiting for that perfect opportunity to get balls and talk to a girl. If it's obvious to me, it's even more obvious to girls in the bar and that's bad. I'd rather go right into a bar, open the first set I see, get rejected and have everyone know than be the guy just standing around being a little biotch. Who cares if people know exactly what you're doing, your a boss, they're not.
