New to this but im definitely not an AFC

Whats going on guys,

My name is Ray, & I just joined this forum today. I was looking through the books in my house this weekend and came across THE GAME. I started reading it a little bit.

I am a guy who will go out to a bar, & have no problems walking up to woman. I would say that I can be a good closer at times, but from the looks of things there is a whole system / community that I was unaware of. I am interested in maybe getting into it a little.

Where do you think I should start?
Is the book that I have a good place to start? it seems like one big story overall and I feel it may not teach you as much as it is a story.
Should I start differently because I am not a rookie, nor overcomming confidence issues?

Any information will be of great help.

It's okay to join in this community even if you are already good at pickung up women and making good openers. You can share your thoughts on the threads posted here. Also, you'll get to learn a lot of things about becoming PUA.

Isn't pick up a long story of getting the girl? And if you already have, then I guess you just have to work on getting higher value chicks, or getting them faster, or getting them in the sack faster, or getting them to do what you want more smoothly. And the big guns here will be quick to tell you, that book is great for starters but if you don't develop the skills and practice the game, then you'd still just be some lucky chump.
