i currently study in new york city and would like to meet people who can introduce me to the game...i've been livin here for the past year and a half and so far I've been devoid of a social life, yet alone women, i study engineering here and cant relate to most ppl in my school. theres a local saying that goes kinda(kinda because translations suck) like this: " God tells you help yourself and i will help you after"

the best thing you can do is READ, theres lot of info here and theres lot of info out there about this, lots of ebooks. lots of newsletters and just a lot of material to study that will get you in your feet now that you are starting.

my own personal suggestions are:
1- Double your Dating by David DeAngelo best seminar ever and it should be your first thing to study, this will be your base.

2- Conquer your College

3- revelation/rules to the game/ ect ect ect

4- if you are a virgin or lacking at sex read the sex god method.

study hard and you will become good at this in no time.

I feel overwhelmed by the amount of information out there available, i honestly dont kno where to begin, i feel like i need some guidance, thats why i would like to meet somebody who already has some experience...I read "The Game" and looked up a bunch of youtube videos, I think i have read enough material to start sarging, I just would like to meet other local PUAs

David DeAngelo Double your dating seminar. you can find audio files out there or buy it from them i think. That its pretty much all you need to start. that seminar is pure GOLD. Trust me on this one and find it. Its like a 12 hr seminar.

edit: then since you are a college student you HAVE to read Conquer your college but as a supplement to DYD. he kind of goes against some PUA a bit too much for my taste but the college stuff is great.

Dude, don't waste your time reading a ton of ebooks and sh1t. Its a complete waste of time....

read one MAYBE two ebooks just to get a foundation for social dynamics. There is absolutely no need to read a ton books and all these audio/video seminars. It's all farking hype.

Aside from the guys here from NYC who might be more than happy to take you under their wing, maybe you can also tap other social networking sites or hobby groups or community orgs to meet more people. The more people you know, the more people you can hang out with.

Read a book or two and practice the skills. The basics are the hardest to master, like approaching people, chatting with strangers, acting confident, etc. but that's really what the game is all about. Good luck bro.

I'll see where I can get a copy of DYD, if you kno anywhere I can get it, let me kno... as for conquer your college, let's just say my college is not typical, its less than a thousand students - very small, and since im studyin engineering, the male to female ratio is 10 to 1, and the few girls that are at my school, well, let's just say they're not the greatest lookin creatures, so there really is not a lot to "conquer" in my college.... I completely agree with you Matrix, I wanna start approachin and get some in-field experience, but nobody's responded to my original post to meet up... I just feel like i need to go out there with someone who can give me some advice, perhaps coach me a little, i dont feel like i can go out there by myself

why dont you do style's 30 day challege? it seems like it would suit you very well because you have some social barriers to break.

remember that those ugly girls in college could have very hot friends. the more people you know the better. be the GUY at college no matter how small it is.

The more you don't go out there, the less likely you'd find something you can relate to. Go join a club or volunteer or something. Usually, engineering courses are peopled with guys so I don't see why you should have a problem finding people to hang out with. If you're the studious type, go pick up women at the library! But stop going around acting as if NYC should hand you a social life on a silver platter. You got to make it happen dude.
