LTR= Over... Need some tips

Got out of a 2yr relationship, took it easy and now im ready to go! Ive been doing some reading and catching up on techniques. Over the duration of the LTR I got my pilots liscense and want to come up with an Opener that has a relation to skies, flying, height, being a pilot, etc. Would that make it easier to transition to dhv and/or conversation? Ive been doing some brainstorming but i have been kinda stumped and wanted to see what you guys might be able to come up with and/or ideas for a pilot opener..can be funny, cocky, w/e....also i am usually direct but then have trouble when it comes to conversation topics.. any pointers?

Well, I suppose in this case, one of the best ones that (might get you slapped) you can come up with would involve joining the Mile-High Club. That's just a laugh out loud thought though. I actually know someone who uses this for his benefit; though I doubt his flying capabilities. He never directly throws it at someone but subliminally throws it in a comment involved with flying upon opening up to a girl. Starting off normal and getting to know each other he throws in the "my friends and I like to take off on weekends..." waiting for the "where to?" reply and then he throws out the "we fly to..." and follows it up quickly with "we used to be in the Marines (or whatever he was actually in) and have our pilots license so we all chipped in to buy a shared plane for our travels" and goes from there. Possibly not the way you want to go *unless you OWN an airplane* but he plays it off and however it goes after that; it's beyond me.

Being a pilot definitely feels like a dhv move, but I don't know if it could work into your Opener. However, an opinion opener can really be anything as long as it's fun and playful. You could do something like "A friend of mine just started seeing this girl, and wants me to take them flying, but she's afraid of heights. Do you have any ideas how to get her to go flying?" or something like that.

I think you should let women find that out on their own... she will after a few dates and you will totally stand out from all the other try hard braggarts who talk about how great you are.

As my dad say's if you are cool - you don't need to tell people... they will find out.

You drop something in front of her and go, and this is nearly screaming loud, "OOPS! I SEEM TO HAVE DROPPED MY PILOTS LICENSE!! I NEED THAT TO FLY MY PLANE!!". But seriously, what Bill said.
