It has been a awhile, but now I am back in the saddle

Just wanted to introduce myself as I plan on spending a lot of time here practicing and honing my skillz.* I am a new PUA just coming off of a long absence from the field.* A few years ago I picked up David D’s “Double your Dating,” and read his stuff.* It totally changed my life and my approach to women.* Within a month the best and worst thing that could have possibly happened, happened.*

I met this fine, fine 10 in a bar, 19yo, 5’1, dark brown hair, thin, D-cup. I wooed her like a master and before you know it I was in a serious relationship … *and then the crazy came out!* I broke it off about a year ago and I have been single ever since, sitting at home, playing WoW and enjoying the peace and quiet J.* But it’s time to get back out there and get my game back up to par.* I can’t wait!* Here is my game plan! Holla at me and let me know what you think!

1)***** Gotta get in shape and get some new threads.* I put on some weight over the last year.* I am about 5’8” 230 and I want to get down to 200 before I go out and do some damage.* Also got a big raise at work and now I can afford to look pimp.
2)***** Going to start talking to more women and work my day game while I am improving my appearance. Not ready to hit the club scene just yet.
3)***** I am a big fan of David D, but I am going to thumb through some of the other masters’ stuff (not gonna pay big bucks for a seminar I don’t need though) and get some new ideas.* I have to see how the game has changed in the 3 years since I have been out.* I am also in sales and I have noticed a striking similarity between sales training and PUA training.* Basically the same method except you are asking “Do you have the money in your budget for this project?” instead of “can I get them digits?”* What worked for me in sales was to take the best aspects of the training I read and integrate it into my own system.* I think if you see this stuff as dogma it makes you overthink things and you ultimately fail.* If I can fill my head with facts and situational tools instead of executing a system then my game will be more versatile and more natural.*

Some other random thoughts:
********** 1)***** I am not in LA, NY, Chicago, or any other major city. I am in Pittsburgh PA (GO PENS!!).* The ladies here are a bit different than anywhere else**I*have lived.* First off there is a heavy concentration of hotties around.* We are a college town.* There are literally 5 universities in the downtown area and you can’t throw a rock without hitting a 9 or a 10.* The challenge is that while we are a target rich city people are in that “relationship,” mentality.* It is very rare to see a girl date more than 1 guy at a time, and consequently most guys are locked into that model as well.* As much as I liked banging my ex before she lost her pretty mind, I would like to stay on the prowl as much as possible.
2)***** When I picked up David D’s book 3 years ago it was like a light bulb went off in my head.* I thought back on all of the success that I had had with women before and all the failures and I realized that I had picked up the girls when I was lucky to do this stuff by accident and I failed when I acted like a wuss (because that’s what my mommy told me to do to attract nice girls!).*

For example, a couple of years ago when I first started going to school and before I had picked up the book I walked into my first class and sat down next to a 2 set comprised of a 10 and a 9…

Me: “Hey, what are your names?”
10: Brooke
9: Brittany
Me: (faux valley girl voice) “Brooke and Brittany? What a stereotype, am I on the Real World or something?”

By week 3 I had the 10 doing my nails in class. I was just too much of a dope to pick up on the IOIs

And when I picked up my ex-girlfriend I was wearing a garish yellow newsboy cap.* I had never even heard of The mystery method or peacocking theory, it may not even have been out yet, but something in me already knew how to pick up girls.

If you have read this long thanks for hanging in, this is the first day of the rest of my life and I am jazzed as hell to . Please tell me what you think of my strategy and if you have any thoughts/tips I would be much obliged.* Also my friends are all AFCs and are either in relationships or are terrified of leaving their apartments.* If anyone is out there in the Pittsburgh area hit me up and we can exchange contact info and go out and wreck this town!
