Default New to this, not got a clue where to start

Hi All

Ive just joined today, im 29 and from London, basically become single again after being in a relationship where it was all one sided, im to much of a nice guy that never says no,

I want to change that, ive never really been a player and im also crap at chatting girls up in bars etc, i just freeze up and get that awkward silence, most of the girls ive dated are people that i get to know over time. Everyone i know guys and girls says the same thing, im the model boyfriend (which i am / have been) however the saying nice guys finish last is to true, you end up in the friends catagory or when you do end up in a relationship you seem to get taken for a pushover.

I need to change all of the above but dont know where to start.

Anyone out there give me any advice / good reads to get me started on the right track
