Hey guys, I used to be very active amongst these forums (same user name incase you recognised it, not likely though, haha!). Although sometime between courseword deadline week and exam times at university I slipped away and haven't been on these (excellent) forums since.
However, what my main point is (new guys to these forums should take great note of this) is that during this period of time I also found myself sacrificing, or to be more honest making excuses for not doing other things to maintain my alpha way of life. I stopped working out, put on a bit of weight, completely lost my confidence with women as well as in other aspects of my life.
I am now back at university after having a 4 month summer off, in which time I done absolutely nothing productive with my time other than work and go to the pub at weekends. This sickened me to no end and I didn't find the resolve to make changes and revert back to the way I was. I have recently joined a football team (soccer to you americans!) and found myself completely lacking in fitness. This reignited my passion for fitness and I have been feeling a bit better about things now, which has inevitably led me back to these forums. I've also started doing the P90X again (recommendation was from Raven, thanks man!) It is worthy to mention during this summer (which is best time for game, girls, sun and fun!) that I didn't get intimate with any girl, heck I didn't even kiss close once.
It's a state of affairs that I will not let myself get back into and all you new guys, heck even the old pro's should do well to remember that it is all too easy to fall back into old routines and revert to the dreaded AFC.
Game is not a fad or something that can merely be learned by cheap tricks. It is a dedicated ritual that must be monitored, rewarded and conducted on a daily basis. This is the key to progress, do not stagnate and depreciate like I have. It a long way back to the top....
