Hi - I'm a geeky programmer and I want to change that

I want to change myself from geeky programmer to sophisticated coder in women's eyes.

Any ideas?

If you're a geeky programmer, I imagine you must be a pale-faced, skinny nerd with glasses who doesn't know how to dress well and sees having a normal conversation with women as quite a challenge. No problem, I used to be exactly like you.

Start tackling the problems above.
Pale-faced: go to a tanning salon
Skinny: start working out in the gym. It only needs to be 2 or 3 times a week, 1 - 1.5 hours a time. (Building a body as a skinny guy).
Glasses: try to get contacts
Talking to women: try to have as many conversations with random women as possible. Start by asking strangers for the time or something like that and try to have normal, nice conversations. Build up from there.
Dressing well: Look at what style 'attractive' men (George Clooney, Brad Pitt, etc.) wear and find a style that suits you.

Start reading up on PUA Alpha Male material so you will start conveying traits that women crave. After that read a seduction guide from one of the gurus.

Hey man welcome! You will love this stuff if you keep at it. Instead of geeky programmer try saying your a hacker or something. That sounds cooler IMO

There's a lot of style information out there I would recommend checking out. It can be costly (As I'm now experiencing) but it works for three things.
1.) It will make you look WAY better. Unless you've actually already got style and it's just the way you present yourself.
2.) It will build your confidence if you know that people like the way you look
3.) It's a great oppertunity to go out there and meet people. Build your circle and meet chicks while you're getting new clothes.

Yes definitely get your GTL on, reading books and getting info is nice and will help. But your activity is the key, step out of where you are comfortable. This is the best thing you can do, talk to strangers, and new girls. Even if it is just an introduction and a little small talk, but you will build a strong association.
