It's time for a change for me.

Hi guys. I’m 21 years old student from Bulgаriа and this is the first PUA Forum I'm joining.
I’m really uncomfortable to talk about it but I think it’s time to admit it in front of myself and you guys – I have no game, I’m still a virgin and I’ve never had a serious relationship before. It’s not like I didn’t approach girls, the thing is that they flaked me. Well, I have a lot of to say but I will spare you my fail stories and will just say that it’s time for a change since I'm determined to become a better man. Wish me luck!

I too am poor when talking to girls. There is no harm in sharing your stories here. You can learn from your mistakes and no where to improve. That is why I am here anyway!

Alright but I should mention that it was a long time ago and I was as inexperienced with girls probably as much as I am now.

It was in high school. I liked that girl from my class. She was gorgeous and she was my one-itis. Little by little I became obsessed with her. I didn’t realize it although my friends tried to warn me about it and open my eyes not once, not twice but a lot of times.

I had an internal dilemma. I wanted to approach her but she was my classmate - what if I got rejected and then I can’t look at her in the eyes on the next day? What if this happens, what if that happens?

One day I finally approached her asking if she want to grab a cup of coffee at the weekend with me. The thing she said was “PFFF” it was like a moan of a sick horse. I was stunned I didn’t know what to say. This was the first time I asked myself what’s wrong with this girl. I tried to forget about her but I couldn’t.

A few months after this incident I asked her to go out again. And guess what? She “pfff”-ed again. But then she said “Why the f* are you asking me out so late” (it was one year before we graduate and we both know that we will go on our separate ways). I remained silent even I know that I tried before, it wasn’t too late. The problem was not in me. It was in her. Plus, if you want something very much you can always make it work out, right?

We were then something like friends, I enjoyed her company despite she wasn't my gf. Long story short I deleted her from my life. I finally opened my eyes.

The thing is that now I realize how much time I’ve lost being obsessed with her. Precious time that I could spent chasing other girls and gaining social experience. Now I am just an AFC.

I've read your posts and let me tell you now i used to have the same negative feelings. You CAN change this.

You came to the right place brother!

If you're not familiar with PUA material, acronyms, etc. You should definitely pick up, and read "The Game", by Neil Strauss. It's a perfect introductory to the world of PUA, and I have a good feeling it will already explain quite a lot to you.


I know there's a PUA in you man, and it's going to come out soon.


It doesn't matter whether you start with canned, or natural material. I almost always suggest to start with canned material for beginners, as it's easier to learn each type of social situation you'll find yourself in, and how to easily address it in your favor.


Natural game will come to you.. well.... naturally, once you have more confidence, and knowledge on how everything works. You'll have more of a dynamic advantage against other men, being that if you run dry on natural game, or blank out, you always have canned material to fall back on. The better you become with PUA, the less you'll find yourself using canned material, or even having to fall back on it.

Im going to go in the opposite direction from OOKE. Although i have only just started and i defientely plan to learn some routines to fall back on i think the absolute No 1 important ideal is to stay true to yourself right?

In the past i have used routines and there is success, especially in night game.

But you want girls to like you for who you are right? Natural game comes all from within you, you will learn to bring your own best characteristics to the surface. You should choose the girl, you are this amazing guy and you want to know if she shares YOUR interests, not mysterys, or anyone elses. Direct and natural is so important as you arnt relying on these external stories that arn't your own. It will develop your inner game, make you feel confident about yourself. I swear by natural and Direct Game, although having routines to fall back on will always help

Hey! First, I have to admit that I am kinda surprised how many replies my thread has so far. It’s a nice surprise, of course. Thank you for your replies and positive attitude, guys. I will definitely PM you if I have a problem in near future.

I will be glad if you can suggest me some books that you like and find helpful. How about canned material – is there any reference book or something like that that includes openers, routines, techniques etc.? I am ready to exchange my e-books if you want to. Just feel free to PM me.

I am currently reading “The Game” and “Magic of rapport” by Jerry Richardson. I should say that “The Game” is really helpful and it gives you basic knowledge about PUA which is great for beginners like me. But after your comments I think Gambler’s “Natural’ is next on my list. What do you think about it?

I'm not trying to go opposite from anyone :P. All I really suggest is that if you learn canned, and then learn natural afterward... You'll always have something to fall back on if anything happens to your natural game.
