Some good online dating site intros/subjects

Can someone give me some suggestions as to what are good intros/topics when sending a message to a girl on a dating site for the first time? I know the goal is to keep it light and act like you don't give a sh1t, but I'm having a hard time with actually putting that in practice.

If first message you shouldnt give a sh1t. If its been a minute then go for it before another f'ker scoops her.

actually you shouldn't give a sh1t.. on online dating websites, there are way too many available girls so just try different first message openers on lots of girls, see those who respond back and those not , try not using those openers which didnt work..

Most guys write messages that are only one line. If you want to stand out, you need to write a paragraph or too. (no more than 200 words though, then it becomes needy).

The only problem is, it takes too long to write a paragraph, and as Ricky2012 said, another f*cker might scoop her up before you are done writing.

So you need to have a very smartly written message template. Rewrite one of the sentences in there about why you're interested in her / poking fun at her, etc. If the rest of the template is good, it will appear as if you wrote the entire thing.

Again, get a good template to start from. Some of them are way better than most people could figure out themselves. I quadrupled the number of women writing back to me and cut my work in half.

Thanks guys, I've got my template all right. What I'm looking for some NON-BORING fun subjects to talk about. I get the whole teasing her and do all that. But eventually you need to talk about SOMETHING substative (and some chicks try to force it there right away). Anyone have a good list of a few topics that can be substative but not the boring everyday stuff that every guy talks about? Work, job, school, etc.

take something from her profile. for example, a while back there was this girl I ended up dating, in her okcupid "you should message me if" section, she wrote something like "she likes guys who wear cartigans and that guys with soul patches or goatees or chin straps need not apply.." along with the usual "smart, funny, etc." - she also said something about being slightly weird. So, anyway! My subject line to her was:

Hey, you're cute. Also, I wear sweaters and don't have weird facial hair...

Something humorous is always a good way to go. Then I related to a couple things in her profile & told me a couple things about myself.
