Why don't my online profiles work? (its a funny read anyways)

About me:

Just like a new job, I offer excellent benefits. I bathe every day. I rarely drink before 9 am and my Psychiatrist says I have potential. I'm also honest (when there's no chance of getting caught), easy going (aslong as I have remembered to take my medication) and generally fun to be around. Seriously though. I am very easy to get along with, honest and fun to be around. I’m a Freelance IT Technician I mix Drum and Bass I like going to clubs and raves but have been settling down now in my older age and enjoy sitting back and watching a good movie I go to the gym every day and like Body boarding, Wakeboarding, Basketball and Fast cars Especially turbo ones.

So I was looking at this thing today and I decided that it is almost impossible to describe who I am in a few paragraphs. However, I think it is probably worth my time to give it a shot as I am giving this whole website a chance.
First off, let's start with what I am NOT like....

So if you like the incredibly tan guys with waxed eyebrows in the club, who wear affliction shirts and lift them to show off their abs, while they flex triceps and stick out their tongues (or stick up their middle finger) for every picture......while sporting a frohawk, a white suit coat jacket, and while utilizing glow sticks, or some type of drug to "intensify their club experience".......I probably hate you.
If you watch the show Home and Away and PROMISE to NEVER expose me to this fact but watch it for entertainment value.....we might be able to work through it.

So what am I like?

Here is the point where I get to gloat about all of my accomplishments and tell you how great I am. Obviously, this is not an easy thing to do as I prefer to retain my modest demeanor. But, again, I signed up for this so here it goes. I am definitely not like everyone else and I pride myself on being that way. I was the person who would ignore what the "crowd" was doing and go my own way. I have plenty of friends and all of them are just as important to me as my family is.......As I consider a lot of my close friends as family anyway.

You actually expect me to read that novel?? If I won't you think these girls will? Make it short, fun, no specifics about wakeboarding or your job.

Agreed with Mobius, women usually won't read a novella unless its REALLY interesting. You have about 3 seconds to impress, whether online or in person. Keep it short, sweet, funny, maybe even vague in order to pique her curiosity and warrant an email from her.
