Default Is it bad to text often?

If rapport and banter is being built...and say you shoot off 4-5 messages a day that are all dhv /funny and/or interesting and both parties are engaged. Say....before/after the first date. I am reading a lot of people waiting like 3 days and then recontacting. If there's a vibe going..isn't it best to flow with it so long as it doesn't turn into Fluff?

Or is it more important to show that you're a challenge that has to be won?

From personal experience, try not to go wild with the texting...just arrange for am activity together. Make it seem like you are actually doing the activity regardless if she is stopping by or not. Appear busy, don't text endlessly...just agree to something and text her a couple of hour before the event to confirm her attendance, that is before the first 'Date'. Give her the gift of missing you..other wise she will get bored and think you don't have a life!

Thanks for the reply Cody. While you're at it, mind checking my other thread?

I actually really agree with your take BUT what if she's texting me stuff. I shouldn't just outright ignore if she asks "what are you up to tonite?" and if I answer with something funny/banterish she'll just continue the convo "oh don't judge me but blablabla...haha..bl abla. so blabla?"

    I feel almost caught lol

    Lmao, blablabla?

It sounds like you have some major attraction built. I'd be spending time with her if I were you (unless you have some barrriers atm.)

I've had these girls before. It's funny because they LOVE to text, but when you tell them that you're old school and would "rather hear their voice" or just "be with her in person" they get wet. "Oh, yeah yeah, totally. I get that. I'm the same way blahblahblah." Even though she's obviously not the same way. You don't have to say that though unless she brings it up. "You don't text much, do you?" It's better if she asks you and you respond in person, but either way works.

Most importantly, set parameters. Girls have a love/hate relationship with boundaries. You call the shots, so cut the conversation short. I do it all the time. "Hey, I'm going to have to text you later. I have a serious amount of work to get done, cool?" (The "cool?" isn't validation seeking. It's just me watering it down so I'm not such a d*ck.) "Yeah for sure, nbd "

Or respond later. Hey! Sorry I'm out for the night. I'll text you after I tuck all my crazy friends into their beds It might be late so don't wait up." She'll stay up, of course.

OR, if it's so bad your phone has transformed into a vibrator, use my favorite: "Why are you texting me when you could be with me?"
