Default Known her for 3 years, I need some texting guidance.

Okay the gist of the story is that I've known this HB8.5 since 2-3 years ago. We used to speak a lot back then, but I never made my move on her back then because one I was a p*ssy and two I never knew about PUA stuff so I didn't know how to handle her ex-boyfriend issues. So I stopped talking to her for about 2 years.

So around two weeks ago I started speaking to her again, she happily gave me her number and we started texting (not every day of course). The day before yesterday (the Friday) we were having a great conversation she was really invested, often sending 2-3 texts for my one (compared to the week before where she was just giving one word responses due to my texts not being that good). So on the Friday I ended the conversation, I said something along the lines of "it's getting late and I want to sleep, night x"

So Saturday I just ignored her, I didn't text her at all. Thus today (Sunday) she sends me the text:

"I still got the teddy you gave me do you remember!? It sits on top of my cupboard"

    2 minutes later.....

    "Btw good morning haha"

It was more than two years ago that I got her that for her birthday, I think I was the only one that took her out that day. Her closest friend even ditched her.

Now I still haven't responded, I'm not sure if I should. It's because I was going to ask her out in the following days for next week, since I'm fully booked this week.

I guess my question is: Do I respond to that? If so how? Is it okay if it goes down 'memory lane' but keeping the texts light and flirty? Or perhaps I should just ignore it and keep her on ice?

Oh and this is slightly relevant but I may as well keep it to one thread, normally with girls I meet I do the cheap date of "Let's have lunch or coffee" then end up going around the shopping center. But since I know/knew this girl should I just skip that and take her to the aquarium since I've got two tickets that I'm going to throw away, she's interested in sea life so it seems like it's common sense.

    Regards, Artorias

Hey! i must say good call on ignoring her. and double texts, and even triple texts! thats a super ioi. Respond, and definitely take her to the aquarium!
Asking a question isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of wanting self improvement.
