Question How to reply to "How are you?" and variations?

so I texted a girl today and at the end of her reply she asked "how are you?".

I generally never ask that myself because it's kinda boring... it instills boringness in me

You could use that very explanation with her.

    Her: "How are you?"
You: "I generally never ask that myself because it's kinda boring... it instills boringness in me, am I boring you already? "

It's almost a neg, but it's a silly teasing, bantering way of implying she needs to be more fun & interesting.

One other thing you can also do/say is to reply back & say, "How am I? I'm like Mega-fantastic! Thanks for asking. "

    Or something along those lines.

Most people have a meaningless, auto-pilot response of "I'm good". Or, "Pretty good", or "Not too bad" etc...

So by being over the top & positive / enthusiastic, you present yourself in a confident & upbeat manner.

I use this method a LOT.

Reminds me of a David Deangelo line...

    'How are you?'

"Well, I've been told I'm DAMN good!"

    Ahhh yeah!
    Another good one!

I do like David DeAngelo's stuff, but a lot of it can getcha in trouble, if you try it when you first start out & don't know how to calibrate the cockiness.

A lot of it also depends on your inflection, body language & expression when you say it.
Because, you can take something like "F**k you, ya little tw@t..." & have it come across as strictly in a joking way & NOT offend a girl.

But anything energetic & positive like the other examples, are outstanding!

She's definitely investing a LOT in you then....
which means she's interested for sure.

Girls are NOT going to waste their time putting in that much effort for a guy they have zero interest in.

I'd say, start being more flirty now.
Just little comments to start gradually directing her focus to a more sexual subject.

Give her a couple nicknames, like "Kitty face" or "Little cutie-pants"... (anything "cute" like that, will get her attention & let her know you're flirting with her.)

I almost got chewed out on giving nicknames. I will hold off until you and her establish a little comfort with each other.

that may well be very true, but could you not argue that she is just the type of girl who sends long texts to EVERYONE regardless?

Could be ... BUT if you start flirting, you will arrive at the answer.

You could be friendzoned (hence the long texts she's sending)... BUT keep escalating to find out for sure.

Dont let what you ASSUME become reality... work out the solution using concrete proof... now just go and get the proof LOL.

If you are friendzoned, she will DEF let you know quickly.
