Thumbs down I'm in a bit of an "awkward" situation at the moment

I've been very close with girl(HB9) for a little over a year now and have recently gotten intimate feeling for her. My problem here is that she went out with my best friend at the beginning of last year for about 4 months.

She seems to be over him, but she stills feels really awkward around him. I am also unsure how he feels about her. As they are my friends, I don't want to put them in an awkward situation. I have no idea how to take our relationship to the next level or if it's just a lost cause.

    Help?

Seems like you already feel guilty for wanting to mess with her since she dated your best friend.

My best advice is to ask your best friend if it's okay first to follow the bro code. If he's okay with it (he might lie.. but doesnt wanna seem stupid) then go for it. Either way, the girl's gonna end up with someone else anyway and he most likely already accepted it.

The reason she may act awkward is this.. and I say this about everything.. but it's the bare bones basic: A girl works emotionally. A guy works logically.

Basically all that means is she had feelings at one time and shes not used to not being allowed to express them in front of him as she once did.
