Quick background: I recently met a girl a few weeks ago, she was our waitress while my family and I were on a mini vacation just an hour from where I live. Anyways I left my number for her and she texted me that night go meet her for drinks, and so we did and had a really fun night.
A few ways she showed interest:
1. besides her seeming to have a good time, the next day she told me she had a really good time with me the night before.
2. Apparently my number wasn't legible when I wrote it down so she tried like texted 10 different numbers until she got the right number.
To the point:
I'm a little annoyed with myself because I think I may have texted her a little too much the first week or so. I would never send 2 messages in a row without her replying, but whenever I sent one It was trying to strike some sort of conversation. It would take her sometimes a full day to reply so I didn't really know what that was about so I sincerely asked her "did you just get that text"? and she said shes sorry she's just bad at texting (I'm thinking more uninterested?).
Anyways,, i sent two messages in a row recently and they were
Jan 8th: "Doing anything fun or interesting tonight in the big city of ******?"
No replies, so yesterday I sent another one:
Jan 11th: "Hope the arm is doing alright , any fun plans for the weekend ? "
And still no reply.
This is what my problem is. I haven't met a girl like this in sometime so I want to put some effort in it before I move on.
Should I send her another text of some sort? For a moment I was thinking about apologizing for the bombardment of texts (even though I know I wasn't really bombarding her) but I don't want to look too weak.
Something else I was considering was just maybe going snowboarding where she lives soon with a buddy and asking her if she wants to "grab a drink before we was back" or something of the sort.
That's pretty much where I'm at as of now, I'm usually fairly clever at this but I don't really know how I want to proceed, so any advice would be appreciated!
