    Default Deleting girls on FB.

So is it a good idea to delete girls from your friend list? This is an option I consider if something went wrong in the interaction online or in real life (not talking about ex-gfs or chicks you've farked). Mostly for girls where you try to set up a day 2 but they wont respond to that topic or wont respond to online messages at all.

With these girls I dont know if it can be salvaged or if any other value can come from having them as "friends". It may not be that bad to still have girls you dont talk to (from a crash and burn or mild disinterest) on your friend list to "build passive value" from pictures of your cool social and pastime adventures, but at the same time I dont care too much about their perception if they're never engaged or responsive to me.

    So a couple questions:
1.) To people at large, does deleting people (particularly girls youve messed up with) come across as vindictive or weird, in a reactive way?
Don't think it does, but this possibility piques my intrest.

2.) And really, can any amount of dhv photos really counter the negative and uncomfortable feelings that probably come from being hit up by a guy you've backwards rationalized your attraction for?

Deleting anyone is giving importance to that subject/someone. The purpose of being a man, is caring only with what deserves, well, caring, so why should you care about such a meaningless thing?

If you're done with her and don't want anything to do with her anymore, delete her. Out of sight, out of mind. But in general it's better, IMO, if you don't delete her and just move on.

So, nothing wrong with deleting, but you shouldn't delete if you don't have to.

    Thanks for the response guys.

Yea, I guess its just kind of annoying to see someone who dosen't talk to you when you've got a lot of people who gladly will in your life. It's almost like they're taking up space that could be used for people who actually contribute value to my life.

What would a situation be where you'd have to? Besides ex's and such.

There are really only two situations where you have to: (1) they are being inappropriate on your wall, etc., or (2) the only way you're going to get them off your mind is by deleting them.

I have a third, which is if they are active with you and they are at a certain point in your friend circle, but this is how I generally operate too. And even if you see a girl every day, it doesn't mean you should keep them on your friends list. There's a bunch of women I pass by on my campus every day who I've unfriended simply because I do not like them and they are absolute bitches who I don't want any association with. If they want to re-friend me, they can go right ahead.

For me, my friends tab is an exclusive place. There are a little more than 500 people in it, but these 500 people are individuals that I actively engage with, and they engage with me.

Like the gentleman further up said, "It's really not that important." It's a very non-issue. Honestly I'd consider keeping them, and friendzoning them to farm them for other friends of that is possible.

You can never have too many actual friends. I have guys that always have an armful of attractive girls that are purely just friends for the sake of farming. If that makes sense.

personally I don't really let people on my fb that I don't actually KNOW. My rule on FB is that if you see me in real life and won't say hi to me when we pass in the streets or act like you don't know me, etc you get removed from my friend's list. It's called a friend's list for a reason.

It CAN totally be weak and needy to delete people off your FB, do it because either a) you don't want them seeing whats on it or b) they are not actually a part of your life and there is no purpose to them being there any longer

but I also practice a different form of pickup then most of the guys on here...so FB social proof is almost useless to me.
