Neither should you, because the best thing you can do is befriending her. Remember, it' always a win-win situation. Even if you fail at sparkling attraction, you may win a female friend, who obviously has loads of female friends, thus... I think you get the point.

    Best of luck!

Try it out. If it doesn't work just say " I guess I was wrong when I thought you could take a joke.. Well don't go jumping off a building now, you still have hope goofball " something to recover from your mistake

I disagree marvilo. Not that your line isn't great, because it is (very good actually and pretty useful in some cases), I just think that it's not suitable for this situation. He should just brush it off.

Invest less. Prompt her to make an effort. Pick up is supposed to be a 2-way relationship, not 1-way relationship, otherwise you're jut performing stand-up comedy for free

You're right. But i doubt he wants to just be friends with her. You have to plant the sexual seed in her head so she knows that you dot just want to be her friend

Right, however, your line contains no sexual vibe.
To introduce sexual vibe you must have barriers, constraints. Something like "damn girl, you're sexy. However, it would never work out between us, 'cause your favourite color isn't blue!"

It's kinda weird if you use the word sexy in a text, since you're not seeing her. It can however work out if you change that word...

ME: No not at all (a)
ME: you shouldn't worry, I'm getting more and more convinced over you for every day that goes
    SHE: Hahah good for you
ME: I've even promised myself to remember speaking to you more often

she isn't even your girlfriend and you're saying this...

on the other hand when i read your dialogue she was just like "hahaha" atleast 7 or 8 times in a row, and then further down
i know Sidewinders already mentioned this, but it's not a good sign hence why i'm repeating it, it's cool if she was like "hahaha <some other comment here or statement>" but she's not, make her invest in you more

and there was a part where she said you probably think she's retarded, where you say no, you should've said yes and be blunt, that would've tested her with a one-worder like she gives u (two-worders) :>

Personally I'd ditch this one, even as a friend she just seems boring as fuck... 90% of what comes out of her is "haha". Granted you're not exactly dazzling her but jeeeezz she's dull
