I would use it as an opportunity to meet up, say, "Well maybe I like talking to you better in person " and arrange a meet up.

Remember, texting is supposed to be only used to bridge the gaps between dates, unless the situation dictates otherwise.

Absolutely. Getting locked into constant texting conversation throughout your day should only be reserved for your girlfriend. Every time she gets upset you don't talk to her, try and make time to hang out with her. EVERY TIME. Eventually you'll actually condition her to only text you when she wants to hang out. Pavlovian conditioning, psychology 101, works with dogs, works with girls.

I hate texting. It's hard to read the emotion of the person at the other end. Don't get me wrong , texting has it's purpose. I will tell a girl very early on that I am a really, really busy guy and I HATE texting. I have to do that as part of my job so I want to get away from it when I am not working. I let her know that. I am helping her lower her expectations when it comes to texting.

It's laying the ground rules. When you tell a girl that you will not text she is VERY HAPPY when I text her once or twice a day. If you raise her expectations by showing lots of text game /contact early on, she will only expect it to get better and more frequent. She won't expect or take anything less.

The true pua will tell you that when it comes to girls you should always:

"Under promise and over deliver" This comes to texting or anything else within the relationship.
