Default Social network game - High value

I work for an adult only social network which shall remain unnamed but if you piece together what it is, feel free to PM me.

My profile gets an above average amount of traffic and I don't really put much effort into getting myself out there just because I'm too busy, you know, working. But sometimes I like to do little experiments. This is my most recent one.

I posted a writing called "100 friends. No more. No less." and talk about the fact that there are 100 people in my friends list. When I make new friends, I remove the person I am least close to as a way of pruning it into people who are 'real friends' because someone in my position could easily have thousands of strangers claiming to be my friend. "I'm kind of a d1ck and can't be friends with any more than that"

This is a dhv because I am friggin popular yet I don't need the validation of having 5000 friends. It also implies that I'm close to everyone I have strategically chosen which are mostly club owners, models and other VIPs and I can teasingly dangle my friend list in front of her like a prize to fight for. Are you cool enough to get on it? Try harder!

To be fair, most VIPs and models already have hundreds of friends and accept anyone who adds them for the sake of marketing themselves. I really am on a first name basis with all of them though.

Obviously I do other stuff too, but I'm really excited to see how this turns out. Will keep you posted!

Default Re: Social network game - High value

    Results from a month later:
Did it change my game? Not really, no.
That said, I can't believe how fun it's been.

I feel powerful when removing someone from my friends list, like I have infinitely more power over my social circle than someone who desperately accepts every friend request and seeks them endlessly.

    - Friends of some long past ex? Gone!
    - Random guy nobody really likes? Gone!
    - I get a friend request from someone trying to piggyback off the value I built? Rejected!

I also wrote more about social game that does work here
