Default She read the message but didn't reply...

How do you recover from a no reply conversation? Especially if you know that she read your text based on the notifications on her phone.

I'm currently talking to 2 girls and they're ADD girls so the attention span is out the fucking window haha

#1) I asked her if she wanted to go snowboarding and she hasn't replied but I see her online on POF.

#2) I was talking to this other chick about University and I asked her what she was majoring it. I'm guessing she fell asleep because she saw the text this morning at around 930 (my time) and still no reply.

What I don't understand is if they have time to look at the message, they have time for the 10-15 second reply. But this is just me venting my frustration.

What I would like to know is how do I recover from this? I can't exactly be like "hey I know you read my message, now answer me!" haha

Definitely don't send a message questioning whether or not she read your last message. That's the kind of stuff that scares girls off quickly.

Also- MOST other guys are also gonna ask her the same questions... "Where do you work? Where do you go to school? What's your major? How do you like it there? Where ya from originally?" etc....

So if you're asking those questions too, you're not gonna stand out. You're pretty much lumping yourself into the same category with the rest of the clueless chumps.

If you've been talking to a girl for a bit & she was responding in the beginning, then wait a couple days & message her with something totally fresh & new... Let the old, stale topic go.

If you're sending the first / opener message & she doesn't reply, then move on. It looks needy & creepy when a guy continues to send messages after the girl failed to reply after the first one.

So basically there's no real way of recovering from a failed no reply text but to wait a few days and start over?

Also is there a way to neg her in a way so that she doesn't do that again? Kind of like reprimand negative bahaviour?

It's really tough to do that with written messages; because you can't properly express inflections of words, & things often get taken in a different context, or sound waaaay too harsh.

I experimented with a couple things before, when a girl didn't reply. I had a little bit of success by making a "top 10 list".
Basically I came up with 10 different funny "reasons" why she never replied.

    A couple examples were:

    Her keyboard fell apart
    She really can't read
Sse forgot to pay her internet bill

    etc.....

But overall, most girls STILL ignored that too. So it's more efficient to say, "NEXT!" & let her go.

Ok I will try to reinitiate the conversation in a few days. What's a good way to start it off? Is there anything in particular that I should focus on?

I'd go with something currently relevant to the two of you / your location.

Like, any sort of big news story, or funny story, or rumor, or celebrity gossip that might be a hot conversational topic... stuff like that is generally good.

Ok that works, how long before I ask her out again? Like I mentioned earlier in another thread, I have a problem in getting stuck with Fluff talk for too long.

As always T-Mal is so right. You can't get on a girl for not responding, most of them do that and we just have to learn to deal with it. If it's a girl you have been talking to for awhile just wait a few days and text something new and fresh, do a re-set, if it's a first time text let her go if she gets back to you at some point great, if not move on. And as T-Mal always says , whenever you text be flirty and funny and you'll be OK .... The NO RESPONSE is a problem for most guys we just need to learn not to let it bother us so much and just keep moving forward

I took your advice and started talking to this HB8 that lifts! (huge turn on for me ) How's this for initiating flirty/sex talk? Smooth transition or no?

    muscle_nerd 3/19/2014 1:50:43 PM
Or you could secretly be a serial killer and just lure guys like me with Star Wars and a great booty

    122191 3/19/2014 1:57:25 PM

Damn it! You caught me... Why is it so obvious I'm a serial killer? You're the second victim that's called me out on it... :P

    muscle_nerd 3/19/2014 2:14:27 PM
Hahaha well it's because you lift and your first victim didn't! Too bad for you I caught on to your plan and will come out on top

    122191 3/19/2014 2:19:43 PM
So maybe I should target the opposite of you, unattractive and out of shape men with no personality or charm I have a feeling if we were to wrestle you would come out on top haha

Correct me if I'm wrong but she's qualifying herself to me right? I want to reply with "I never said anything about wrestling but that could be a good warmup"

That would be taking the bait of the eager rapport topic too soon.

Instead, you'd do better to give a slight push here, just to avoid looking like you're ready to pounce... then pull her back in.

Something like: "I bet you say that to all the guys... you're just trying to get on my good side, you can't fool me. But, I like your enthusiasm. Keep that up & I'm totally likely to fall under your spell. "

When you cause a girl to feel that mix of emotions of an effective Push-Pull, you can seriously increase attraction.
