    Default Question for the fellas

    So I saw this girl on an online dating site that I was attracted to.
    You can write comments under their pictures and I was going to write under her profile picture "So, the question is are you as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside ???"

    I'm wondering if this is lame and if I should say she is beautiful right off the bat ..... what do you guys think ????

    Definite no. Don't ever talk about physical beauty right off the bat, and this is amplified by a factor of ten with online dating.

    Hey Duke, what do you think of this one;

    I think blondes are dangerous. BUT, you seem to have an adventurous spirit and I like that

    THANKS !!!

    That's more along the right track.. but I would probably tweak it a bit more & go with something like:

    You're smiling an awful lot in your pictures. I'm thinking you're either really happy, OR you're just up to something. (Do you have the mind of an evil genius?)

    It sets a playful bantering tone right from the start, & has a sort of cold read & almost a challenge for her.

    I've used similar messages to that effect & have had pretty decent results.
    That may work for you... or some variation of it.

    I'm stealing this T-mal. You're the fucking man on online game.

    You need to write your own book. Like a serious book, and publish it and get it out there because you WILL make money.

    Awwwwee, Y'all are too sweet!

    But actually, I do have a little eBook / guide on Amazon already.
    "The 3 Most Successful Online Dating Profiles Ever!!"

    I've been thinking about making a more in-depth book too. Covering Texting / Online game AND in-person techniques.
    (That would be a while though, because I haven't started anything yet... LOL)

    Regular work & some private coaching sessions are keeping me pretty busy at the moment. But I'll probably start getting ideas together for what will go into it pretty soon.

    Just to add to T-Mal's post, there is something you should Take Away from this conversation. Neither of your suggested openers had a hook. They were simply statements that lacked anything that the gal could latch onto and respond to.

    Now look at T-Mal's suggested opener:

    You're smiling an awful lot in your pictures. I'm thinking you're either really happy, OR you're just up to something. (Do you have the mind of an evil genius?)

    This can be broken down into three parts:
    1. A statement about her profile (You're smiling an awful lot in your pictures);
    2. Relates it back to yourself somehow (I'm thinking you're either really happy, OR you're just up to something); and
    3. Creates a hook by asking a question OR makes a statement that is obviously meant to be replied to (I'm thinking you're either really happy, OR you're just up to something).

    And now that I've broken it down for you, I also want to state that this is my formula for online dating openers. It's also just a great way to open new people in general.
