Not expecting a reply for awhile since this forum seems to be even less active than usual, but that's alright, just trying to bounce ideas around.
I changed up my OKC profile a bit and I wanted everyone's opinions.
MY SELF SUMMARY:
I remember when online dating used to be seen as place where total losers had to come to score dates. Now it's grown to the point where you don't have to feel like such an outcast. And although I wasn't a total loser back in the Stone Ages of online dating I now find myself, like you, using it as another tool to meet people. Funny how times change, right?
So. Me. I've dated my fair share of women throughout my life. Some good, some bad. Grateful, I guess, for the experience of all of them, because I pretty much know what I'm looking for. If you have a path in life, a sense of humor (the ability to laugh at oneself is a dying art that must be brought back!), a bit of a wild side, and you take care of yourself then I'm calling out to you! Which leaves us here, you and I, pioneering the online dating era together. Two brave souls seeking adventure and intrigue (and maybe a cursed, golden statue in a forgotten temple). But where do we go from here!? What bold and dangerous adventures await us? Are you brave enough to find out?
TL;DR: Check out the QUICK VERSION! "Favorite Movies" "Six things" (for the feels! ) and "You Should Message Me If"
WHAT I'M DOING WITH MY LIFE:
Making fun of myself constantly
Taking in experiences
Raking in all that dough
and Staking my claim on life!
Yep. That just happened.
I'M REALLY GOOD AT:
I dare you to find out.
THE FIRST THINGS PEOPLE USUALLY NOTICE ABOUT ME:
My witty demeanor and how comfortable I am around people.
Also my scruff. I've been likened to a "Greek God basking in his own glory" when it's the perfect length. True story.
FAVORITE BOOKS, MOVIES, SHOWS, MUSIC AND FOOD:
I'm a huge geek, and will read almost anything.
I listen to mainstream music styles. I enjoy music but I don't define my life by it. I know this is a deal breaker for a lot of you and I'm okay with that.
Movies are not an "alone time" activity, in my book. While I may invite you over to "watch a movie" it certainly won't be the first date. That's just creepy.
I have been known to get addicted to TV shows from time to time (Breaking Bad destroyed my social life for three weeks straight)
THE SIX THINGS I COULD NEVER DO WITHOUT:
I recently lost my dog, and it tore a hole in my heart. He was my little buddy.
Also - Popcorn, and the guy who came up with the idea for tagless clothing, he's a genius.
Oh you wanted six?
I SPEND A LOT OF TIME THINKING ABOUT:
How 86.47% of statistics are made up on the spot, and how this affects the Dominican economy, which has been spiraling down to 65% efficiency since 1983.
ON A TYPICAL FRIDAY NIGHT I AM:
Out with friends...though is there such thing as a "typical" Friday night?
THE MOST PRIVATE THING I'M WILLING TO ADMIT:
I answered over 300 questions for OKCupid's match thing. It was during a road trip. Like, a really long one.
YOU SHOULD MESSAGE ME IF:
I probably messaged you, to be honest. If I missed you, don't fret! Just make sure we would actually be a good match before we waste each other's time.
You may be a nice person, but if we have literally no common ground or interests, it's likely not going to work out, and experience has taught me I simply can't respond to you, which, as a guy, I know sucks. Sorry in advance! Keep looking though, there are people out there who are looking for you, I promise!
If you DO think we'd be a good match I'd love to hear from you though!
