I go to a recording studio every so often to practice guitar and drums. There's a cute girl that works the counter there that has shown interest in me. I finally found the opportunity to get her number the other day. After leaving the studio with her number, I texted her when I got home (so she has my number). This was our conversation:
Me: We should make some nerdy music together
Her: Haha yes. Nerdy to me is calculus and video games. What's your nerdy? xD
Me: I'm a film and music nerd. I also read Harry Potter and play video games
My opening text was in reference to a conversation we had at the studio. My last text ended the conversation. I think it lowered my value because to me, it looks like I'm saying that that's all I do; that couldn't be further from the truth. Plus, it wasn't fliry and it didn't communicate anything conducive to a date happening. I'm debating whether to call her tomorrow afternoon to set up a date for early next week or wait until after I get back from vacation which will probably be January 3rd or 4th.
Any tips appreciated
