I've been struggling with the Tinder matches lately. I downloaded the app probably three weeks ago, and within the first week I had 8 or 9 matches, all at least HB7.5's and up. My profile was something like: "I need banter in my life, nothing gets my laughing like a good quip or a well timed insult. I'm sarcastic and quote movies for no good reason. I'll always make time for good conversation and a cold beer."
But I thought I'd change it up and nothing has hit home. I've tried the first two listed below, and have had maybe a match from each, with plenty of fresh fish still sitting out there. Help me out here guys, which one is best:
1. "Warning! You have subjected yourself to extreme feelings of attraction! Swiping right may cause uncontrollable fun, excitement, and feelings of joy. By swiping right you agree to the proposition of an alcoholic beverage accompanied by one, and only one ruggedly handsome, charming, and witty man. Tinder and its associates are not responsible for post first date desire for sequential dates. Swipe right now if you agree to these terms."
2. "Things I'm good at: Basketball, bass guitar, snowboarding, fixing cars, recruiting, football, golf, not drowning.
Things I'm not good at: ESP, hand stands, golf, acting like I enjoy Samuel L. Jackson in movies, badminton, quantum physics... But I'm working on the Samuel L. Jackson thing."
3. "Hey I'm bballking! I'm from Michigan so I rock at shoveling snow and figuring out new ways to warm up cold fingers. I work as a recruiter right now for a very cool company, wouldn't trade it for anything. When I'm not working out or hitting up down town with my friends, I'm watching Netflix, modifying something on my car, or learning a new song on my bass guitar. I love beer, mostly because I'm a man , so ask me out for one and I'll see you at the bar."
