It's been a long while since I've last posted, but I need some expert's advice on how to proceed.
In a Facebook group of a not so commonly known orchestra I found this girl that lives close by and attends the same university, she's in the 4th, I'm in the 3rd yr. She doesn't look like the party going, wild type at all. Actually quite the opposite. And she seems not so sure about herself, since a quick google showed me the following; (In context: I had to guess which faculty she was at, and I cheated a little; I'm no lurker)
back in college she asked on YAHOO ANSWERS why nobody liked her and was not interesting to males, because apparently, people were bullying her in regards to her look. (She's cute in my opinion, not ugly and certainly not fat LOL. Skinny-normal size. Those people need to visit the U.S.A. to get a grip on the definition of fat.)
And she got as a reply: "The issue could be that the average guy isn't into Latin or classical music."
Her answer: "So the average guy doesn't like a well educated girl with a broad cultural taste? Well...I guess in my case that sucks :S"
And that guys, is exactly what does interest me!
At first she answered quite shortly, since I was a stranger, but I persisted and after a few back and forths she wrote more and the conversation was enjoyable. It lasted for two hours, from 12.00 to 2.00 AM and then she read my message, but didn't reply? It wasn't really a question though. Maybe didn't know what to reply. What to do?
I don't consider myself bad looking at all, though I don't think she'd pay attention to that, being insecure herself. We share similar interests. I'd think I'd fit to her "vacancy" .
So what do you suggest me to do, guys? (Giving up at first draw... not yet!)
I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter.
Thanks in advance.
TL/DR: girl doesn't respond; not the "girl nextdoor" type.
