You may not want to chat her up, but unless she remembers you favorably or you come off as a stud in your profile, she has no motivation to want to go out with you. You can open her with something as simple as, "Hey, haven't seen you in a while. How've you been?" and transition a short comversation into coffee, a walk, or a beer. Save the invitation until you've built a bit of rapport and have given some value.
