i can't just leave you hanging here so I'll give you a couple pieces of advice that worked for me when I used Tinder. -Just got out of an LTR so I might use it again eventually.

Tinder has taken the online dating world by storm in the last couple of years. The more you understand the nature of its creation, the easier it will be for you to take advantage of it. Why has Instagram surpassed Facebook for daily user activity? Instagram is simple and it requires only a short attention span. While Facebook users tell their story through longer posts and albums of pictures, on Instagram you tell your story one picture at a time. A picture is worth a thousand words! Instagram leads for activity in several key demographics. (Particularly ages 18-25)

What the f*** does this have to do with Tinder?

Tinder is doing the same thing to the rest of the dating world that Instagram did to the social media world. Tinder also leads that key demographic mentioned above. Most dating sites rely heavily on a combination of well written profiles and pictures, Tinder relies heavily on 5 pictures to tell your story. I tried Tinder with both a profile and no profile and my results stayed pretty much the same. Tinder users have low attention spans and don't have the patience for heavy reading. It's shallow and self validating all at the same time.

What does this have to do with pick up lines? its not so much the lines as the timing. Through my experience and what my friends successful on the app are doing, you're much more likely to get a response under two situations:

    1. Right after you've matched with her
    2. While she's still online

I find that you can open with pretty much anything if you message them immediately after you've matched and you're fresh in her head. The rules for talking to them are pretty much the same as they would be in the real world. You have an advantage here because you know she already likes you. The point is to say something that gets a quick response. It doesn't have to be fancy:

    >ME: Who do people tell you look like? Like which celebrity?
    HER: Blah, Blah
ME: I would have said you looked like [X celebrity]

    >"You're my first match! I just took a screen shot of it so we can show our grand kids in 40 years!"

    >"You're cute and I'm ridiculously good looking. We would make beautiful children.....but where do we tell them we met?"

    >"If you could have any mediocre super power, what would it be?"

    >"Zombie Apocalypse is here. What would you do, who would you save?...Ready....set .....GO!

It really doesn't have to be complicating. I have a friend who doesn't study PUA material and he's pulling consistently by saying stupid things. Make sure it's short and its something that will grab a quick response. Afterwards it's the same just like you're texting a girl on the phone. Don't bore her with long/boring messages. Keep it light and fun.

let the comments keep coming as this is a great topic! Cheers!
